Building on the success of its sell-out debut in 2015, Project Botanicals returned in 2016 with a new venue, exciting new collaborators and incredible cocktail and dish pairings.

Bombay Sapphire Brand Ambassador Chase Bickerton and award winning chef Michael Meredith created a perfectly matched cocktail and food offering, inspired by Bombay Sapphire’s 10 botanicals.

2016 doubled the number of customers served to 2,000, with sell-out sessions every night of the two-week pop up. Hosted in the headquarters of charity organisation Eat My Lunch, the Project Botanicals experience was bought to life with botanical styling by Blush, and incredible live-artistry from prominent Auckland artist, Andrew J. Steel.

Media coverage was extensive across all of New Zealand’s premium food, drink and lifestyle publications including Viva, Denizen, Dish, The Urban List, Kia Ora, Cuisine, Mindfood, NZ Herald. The project generated over 150 pieces of coverage across print, online and social media.
